It's a bird thing

Topshop silver bird necklace, Urban Outfitters gold bracelet and ring, vintage bird claw necklace.

Thank to Pamela Love(and her £960 gold talon cuff), birds seemed to be the coolest group of animal in the universe. Ive always had and obsession with birds and animal skulls (knowing I put some stag teeth in the souvenirs in my first show production at college).
After all, who doesn't want to be free like a bird?

The ledgend of Serge and the Ballet Russes

Ive been feeling pretty uneducated(as I mentioned) since I havent been to exhibitions for centuries. Finally I got a chance to pay V&A a visit. I went there late and I didnt actually finish browsing the whole exhibition, and as you can tell from the images, the exhibition definitely worth dropping a few more pounds. It won't do the exhibition too much justice if I write a review now, so I would consider this is a sneak preview for the exhibition? Sorry for the image quality because V&A did it really strict on photography, but mean
while, just get yourself into this whimsical wonderland of Serge Diaghilev and the Ballet Russes.

3.

my first (going alone) press day from NMA for their accessories

These Quintin Mackey bags are literally golden, and killers.

and of course, how can I miss these beauties.

After 2weeks of returning and general administrative work, ive got chances to go to ever more different places (if you don't count PR agencies across London, *laughs*). Last week I went to quite a few exciting places. I guess I need to shorten up my post and let the images do the speaking (partly because I've got too much to do, partly because my pictures speak much louder, in a lot of circumstances?)
Enjoy.

Russian dolls

i've been feeling pretty uneducated since I forgot when was the last time I went to see an exhibition. Luckily Ive written down a list of places I have to go this coming weekend. One of the highlights is definitely the Diaghilev and the Golden Age of the Ballets Russes, 1909-1929 exhibition
in the V&A. The legendary Ballet Russes inspired Paul Poriet in his early collections and this surely one of the brightest pieces of fashion history. Speaking of which I found an editorial in British Vogue, taken by my favourite photographer Tim Walker in response to the exhibition. Its just utterly stunning as usual.

Rinko

I remember when I discover Rinko Kikuchi on the Chanel ad few years ago. She has got a delicate look but it was her eyes that made her an unforgettable face to me. I got a copy of i-D 2 years ago with her on the cover and since then she appeared in a lot of fashion mags, not to mention Vogue Japan. Shamelessly I try to channel her image in myself, and sorta realized how much I want to be a person like her. She's fierce and versatile, yet utterly delicate and feminine, and hell yeah she looks good in everything, every hair style.
Call me a loser because I still haven't watched Babel and I guess I really need to see it asap. I saw a screen cap of some sex scenes in Babel of her and some other guy, perhaps this is why it triggers me to raise up my fond of her by writing about her in the blog.
Rinko is going to be the lead character to Norwegian Wood by Haruki Murakami.
I guess this is no news for any one who loves her , there were some debates popped out when she was chosen as the lead character in the film, but I guess to me there's nobody who fits better to play naoko. I just need to put it here cos the trailor is already moving enough to me.
Its boring to put articles in wikipedia of her here, so google her yourself for more info haha.

Tank

It's my 2nd week working at Tank as an intern and obviously Ive been super busy and there's no surprise when you see me looking like a walking corpse *laughs* Its been good fun working at Tank, I guess you can see it from the pictures above. I went to the DKNY party since Tank was launching its limited addition for its current issue. The Art Attack issue is curated by different contemporary artists and these limited editions will be put on auction. I can't really explain how exciting it is to have seen Jenny Saville walking around in the Tank office (OK it might be because Cole Mohr went into the office on the same day as well aaaaoollhhaahaha). I guess Ive done enough talking and you should now just go grab a copy of Tank.

Dark Nouveau

Vintage black dress, Zara fur gillet, Topshop sequin gloves and crystal embellished leggings. Vintage scarf, DIY studded headband.

I feel like a big slacker when I realized how long I haven't updated this blog. I've just started my placement at Tank magazine and its been super busy, show reviews and images will be posted as soon as Ive got some time.

I was meant to upload images of the studded headband as soon as Ive got that done, but oh well now you've seen it on so I guess I can postpone a proper shoot for it *laughs*. Thanks everyone whos interested in the headband, those were quite ego-boosting experiences when I got asked where I got this headband from every time I wear it. Luckily Ive still got some material left for another one, I will seriously consider selling them when Ive got more audience. It takes time and patience to make this and thanks again for every compliment I received.
